License Qualifying Courses
Salesperson 18 Month Required Coruses
Salespersons that qualified for their license having taken the Real Estate Principles course only, are given an 18 month period to complete at least (2) of the required college-level courses listed below to retain their Salesperson License.
Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Appraisal, Property Management, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Economics, Legal Aspects of Real Estate, California Business Law, Escrows, Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending.
You may also choose to complete these courses prior to applying for the Salesperson's Exam.
Brokers Courses
Before applying for a Broker License, a total of (8) college-level courses are required.
Applicants must have successfully completed the following (5) required courses: Real Estate Practice, Legal Aspects of Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Economics
And (3) courses from the following group: Real Estate Principles, California Business Law, Property Management, Escrows, Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending.
